Love and Hate; the most powerful forces in the universe.

I believe that everything we do, every thought and every action is triggered by one of two forces, Love or Hate.

Pure love is the most constructive force, while hate is the most destructive of all.
Neither is good or bad, it is just how it is. I believe our minds are very unique of being able to choose between the two and it is never pure one way or the other all the time.

When you are in love, you are whole, you are enjoying life, your cells are happy, your digestive system is working well and everything looks like it is going in a surrender mode, the whole universe is a good place to be.

Pure love is not meant to be the romantic type, which is difficult for some to understand. In fact when you are in love, you don’t need anyone to love or share your feelings. It is a state of mind and you become the joy itself manifested, you know you exist now and that “Now” is the perfect place to be.

When you are in pure hate, everything looks hell. The universe is simply a hell place to be. Everyone is working against you, nothing works as it should be, you are a victim and you wish everyone would just disappear, or you may just want to end up your life “or others” and get this misery out once and for all.

Although we can engage in one of the extremes, it is more likely that we all go back and forth between the two forces, engaging one end more than the other and thus painting our perception of life based on that.

The westernized new age thoughts, such as the great writer Donald Walsch and many others, believe that there are 2 forces, Love and Fear. This seems to be a pure westerner idea or notion. In the east, Buddha was very clear of the three poisons which are Hate, Desire and Ignorance, fear is not there.

Even if we suggest that Fear is the underlying cause, then what we are doing is just putting the responsibility of our hate on an underlying cause. A very westernized approach. “You are not responsible, you have fear inside you”, or, “you need to feel secure and that will get rid of your anger” and etc…

Instead one should face oneself, that one feels hate more than love completely by his/her choice, be aware of that and ask for it to be change if so desired. Fishing for the underline cause is a loophole that never ends, wasting ones life by trying to find out how he/she behaves and why.

What is the most important thing you've got?

I woke up early couple of days ago, around 4:30, my mind was heavy with great buzz. The question was clear, what is the most important thing you've got? What is it? is it God? what do you know of God? Have you seen him? For you God is a Mythology, a theory, a belief system, a word you flip it and becomes Dog! You are trained to seek God but what do you have Now that you most value and experience? Not tomorrow not after a week, NOW!

Is it your job? your money? your family? your desires? your seeking? All these are nothing but contemporary existence of your choosing, sooner or later reality will change and the lake will be calm.

The only thing you ever had and will always have..is your Freedom...
.
You are a free being,
Experience this freedom till the last drop,
It is who you really are,
Free to laugh,
Free to cry,
Free to be happy or choose to feel sad,
Scream it out, Shatter the misery myth,
Live it out without any hesitation,
You are a free being and your essence is made of free stuff
Don't settle for anything less
Cherish it,
Preserve it,
Guard it with all you've got
.
And when you fully experience this
Remember, it is like a labyrinth
In a way it is an intrigue
In another it is forever
But expand it more
And know more
For that
Is your
God

Ishaya Meditation..another form of meditation

I just got a CD from a friend of mine (Thank you Yasmin!) .
The CD was handed to me by someone in a church where I go for another type of meditations Created by Osho.

The representative who handed the CD to me asked me, why do you need that? don't you do your own form of meditation?

Another misunderstanding people have about meditation...

Not only do I participate in Osho type of meditations but I participate in Muslim Sufi type Meditation, Traditional Muslim type meditation, Buddhist type meditation, Kundalini type meditation, Sahaja Yoga type meditation and many others...In fact there is a form of meditation that is mostly formed of just dancing. You get so absorbed with the dance that it makes no difference if you were sitting idle or moving.

The job or the essence of meditation is to go there..to that "space"... that blissful state of mind..to be here in the moment..in the now!

In fact once you participate in any form of meditation with the right understanding for long time, you can easily understand other types of meditations. If you do and still don't understand this point, you got a looong way to go.

This actually relates to one post I wrote earlier (The Game the continuos search of perfection). There is NO specific Best Technique. The street fighter knows that pretty well. In meditation it is exactly the same. Once you reach that "space" it is all you want, how you get there, it s not important, it is just a form of entertainment :)

The myth of tolerance

In today's' society's, societies pride themselves on being "tolerant" to each other.

In Christian countries, Christians should be Tolerant to Muslims, in Muslim societies Muslims should be tolerant to Christians and Jews, in Jews societies the Jews should be tolerant to Palestinians, on the other side the Palestinians should be Tolerant to Jews... Do you see the problem??
Each one of these groups feel superior to the other therefore, they need to tolerate them.

I remember being asked when I first came to Canada, are you guys tolerant to Jews and Christians? I never expected this kind of question! My best friend is Christian and he works in a Jews area, trading with them all the time. We never paused and thought, let s be "tolerant" to each other! Because WE ARE each other. We know the paths are different, but that what adds flavour to life.

People shouldn't be "Tolerant" to each others, they should BE each other. No one is superior to anyone else. Your religion is your decision. As long you are happy and I am happy, that is really all that matters.

Islam The Religion Of Love

It was 5 o'clock in the morning, thoughts and images flooding my mind, gotta write this before I forget...Why and what brought these ideas? I don't know. Nevertheless it is interesting to just write them down.

Love manifests itself in Islam ALL OVER.

Here are few examples:

1) The first and oddly so, The form of burial
Body gets washed like you are going to a wedding, isn't that amazing?
The body gets wrapped in cotton sheets full of nice fragrance. Why so?
It is because of our appreciation and Love for this vehicle, the body, that took us for this ride on planet earth. Without it how can we experience what we have experienced.
The body is buried humbly with love and gratitude back to mother earth.
If we are so grateful for the dead body, imagine how much we should be honoring our own bodies while we are alive? We really need to do that. Eat proper, maybe Organic food, control our feelings and state of mind, aim to be happy, exercise well and above all love ourselves and accept our physics.

2) All prayers in Islam start with Gratitude
Have you seen the movie "The Secret"? The first thing you have to do before you form any desire toward the universe is to be grateful.
In Islam, the first thing is "Alhamdulelah"; Thank you god.

3) The profit muhammed was humble and kind, his voice was so soft that in the prayer when he preached there was always one next to him to shout the words to the crowd.

4) Salam is a form of salutation. It means Peace. When you meet someone you say peace and when you leave you say peace. You can also be more lengthy and say Salam U Alaikum, Peace be upon you..

The time where Islam is considered a harsh religion, an unjust religion, a violent religion, this time is gone. The sheikhs (priests) who are teaching thousands years old interpretations need to reconsider. Islam is love manifested. This is the way to the divine. Like I talked about before. There are 2 ways to the divine through your heart and through your mind. Through the mind is a technique mastered by calming the mind down and with great focus achieving amazing tranquility and thus leaving the brain ready to receive divine energy, this technique assumes you are the only one that exists until everything else dissolve in you. Islam's technique is through the heart, you only have love and gratitude, you no longer exist only god does, thus dissolving slowly in god's energy. This can be very clear in the writing of Rumi.

Later after these thoughts, I went to sleep again, I saw a dream where I was in a Synagogue. I asked the people there where do you guys pray, they told me right here pointing forward. I looked and there was this big hall with beautiful coverings on the wall. I said thanks and they replied with words I didn't understand, perhaps thank you in their language (I just remember it starts with the letter S). I took one incense and went and sat there on a wooden bench, it is exactly the same feeling, people here are happy and full of gratitude just like anywhere of worship. Another thing I noticed, some words are similar, Arabic like, even the writing I could distinguish some Arabic fonts, we are from the same origin, it is just so obvious I could touch it! I just love these people like my own, in fact they are! We are all one, same origin, same taste, same approach to the divine..we need to be one again, love each other again and share again..The incense was placed on my side and as it disappeared my dream disappeared with it...

Meditation part II

This meditation is made to ensure you recharge your life force and simply to relax.

This involves a specific way of breathing by moving the Stomach instead of your chest. If you watch an infant on his back breathing during sleep you will find that his stomach goes up and down not his chest. However the ability to relax into this breathing habit gets reduced while we grow up. To relearn it, you can start by sitting on a chair straight with your feet apart and breath. While you breath-in push gently your stomach outward. At the beginning if may feel artificial but after few days it will start being a normal habit.

Now, for the energizing part, lay down without any pillow or anything to elevate your head, it is also advisable to cover your body. The cover of the body actually is advisable during any meditation. Because the relaxation opens up the pores of your skin and you may invite un-wanted energy or simply cold.

Now, make sure there is absolutely no noise (you can use ear-muff if you like), and envision the air going down while your stomach goes up (You can place your hands on your stomach to feel how it is going up and down), then envision the air leaving you while you breath out... that is it. If you find that you are so relaxed that you want to sleep, that is perfect but don't change position. Stay on your back with no pillow.

When the energy circulates the body very well, you will feel warm or hot air going into your stomach..you can't mistake that when it happens. So keep noticing for that and if it does happen, just remain relaxed and keep the same concentration on the breath..

Usually I do this after the end of working day, I start the breathing and sometimes I feel the hot air and then end up snoozing for about 5 minutes, I get up once the body is filled just like a battery being charged and ready to continue an active afternoon..

100 Words Formula For All Of Life

Hope is the doorway to belief, is the
Doorway to knowing,
knowing is the doorway to
creation and Creation is the doorway to
experience

Experience is the doorway to expression,
expression is the doorway to becoming,
becoming is the activity of all of life and the
only function of god

What you hope, you will eventually believe,
what you believe you will eventually know,
what you know, you will eventually create,
what you create, youwill eventually

experience, What you eventually experience, you will
eventually express, what you express you will
eventually become.

This is the formual for all of life.

Remembrance Of A Monk

My passport should be returned to the Japanese authorities, and the report of my death should be made lawfully. I am a man without a country but, after all, the law is the law. I am a homeless monk, therefore there is nothing to be left to anyone.
Remember me as a monk, and nothing else. I do not belong to any sect or cathedral. None of them should send me a promoted priest's rank or anything of that sort. I like to be free from such trash and die happily.

Law of Opposites and Freedom of Choice

From an observational point of view, everything in nature comes in pairs. Any adjective has its opposite. Bright/Dark, White/Black, Happiness/Misery, even conceptually god can't exist without the devil. Having said that, if things are measured that way, then the universe is balanced. The more happiness there is, the more unhappiness will exist somewhere else...Like it or not.
What we are offered, I think, is freedom of choice, to choose between happiness and Misery.

I think generally people don't wish to be only happy. They relate happiness to worldly pleasures and desires. But desire can't be satisfied, the more you eat, the next day you want more and more, you get a Honda you want Mercedes, you get Mercedes you want the latest, you marry the most beautiful you still desire another...Desires differ from person to person but they are all unattainable in the long run.

Happiness becomes last on your wish list. Another reason for not putting it first, is because you may be granted happiness but on the expense of other items, the beautiful car, the promotion you always wanted at work..Etc. I think even consciously if people are offered to be more happy or offered another materialistic wish, they will choose the latter. Happiness can come later. So, it gets pushed and pushed till the last day of your life..

So to change that, you need to place your Joy and Happiness above all. Don't concern yourself with the miseries of others for now. Take care of yourself first then turn to defend other's miseries because if you don't, you will be sucked into their miserable hole.

The universe doesn't care about your choice, or in fact it will honor it either way. If the whole earth decides to be miserable, it will be perfectly fine and happiness will be found on some other planet...

Osho, Strange Consequences

When Friedrich Nietzsche Declared "God Is Dead", F*CK became the most important word in the English Language... (funny but Careful,Adult Language in the video)

(About Friedrich Nietzsche is a German philosopher who reasoned that Christianity's emphasis on the afterlife makes its believers less able to cope with earthly life. He argued that the ideal human, the Übermensch, would be able to channel passions creatively instead of suppressing them. His written works include Beyond Good and Evil (1886) and Thus Spake Zarathustra (1883–1892))

On Meditation

So I thought I will write some about meditation...why not ? It s probably the single most misunderstood topic. In a very simple manner, let s start. This may go on and every time I feel like I will probably write a bit more...

Definition: Meditation is a way to clear your mind.
Why? The intention is to live more happily and finding that joy that is unconditional on your current situation or on the world's.

Our happiness can not be drawn from satisfying desires. If you look everywhere, you find that desire has a beginning and an end. First you desire something, then you satisfy your desire then the desire is gone until you grave it more. All work of the brain. So from this, you can see that the brain itself is the originator of all desires, so controlling your brain will control how happy you want to be.

How? A beginning stage of how to control the brain is to make it concentrate on one thing at a time. Even during your waking moment when you are typing or washing dishes try just to control your thoughts and think only about what you are doing. Later, when you have more time, you can sit quietly and close your eyes. The closure of the eyes will draw more ideas or sometimes strange ideas. In my opinion, after you close your eyes, the brain facilities will think that you are relaxing to go to sleep, in another word dream time :). This is the time to watch your brain and its thoughts. From experience, it is better just to watch for at least 15 minutes without doing anything then concentrate on one thing such as the breath.
Counting the breath is a very old technique and very effective. Just count from one to 10 very slowly with each breath and little pause between. This is an attempt to control your own brain. You will find that while you are counting, thoughts come and go. Later on, thoughts frequency decreases and a pure joy will evolve.

...to be continued :)

Sex and Religion

Have you noticed most religions are against sex one way or another.. we grow up thinking sex is bad, always related to something that is not good. It s good only when we are bound by religion contract (marriage).

First sex itself, is absolute necessity to life. like the flower that blossoms a blue sky that marries the clouds, river flowing..and so on. So restricting it is against nature. In my opinion even restricting it with partners is also against nature. To be with one partner is absolutely fine, but should not be a religion nor an ethical choice, it is simply a choice done out of freedom. This leads naturally to speak of freedom...

Everything done out of freedom and joy is what nature intended it to be... Joy is your key to freedom and freedom is your key to joy...it is a multifaceted key..Once you are free, you can't do anything wrong. Misery is a human concept we love to attach to. We do things and get stuck to things that give us misery. Even we feel somehow guilty when we are too joyous and we may hide our joy from others.

The joy feeling is not restricted to anything... being joyful is your utmost right in life...it is who you really are and what you intend to grow to..it is your ultimate goal...regardless if there are misery around you or not.

Sex itself is an expression of Joy... a special blossom of joy..it s the joy that can be shared the most..in regular circumstances where sex is done through love...it is one gift of the universe to us

All current religions understood this wrong. I am very confident of that. They all think the ultimate point is way in the future.
Muslim Jews and Christians have the target in heaven while eastern religions the target is Nirvana or not to reincarnate. What you are left with is many rules of don't and dos so that you end up in that most joyful place...
The most problematic face with this school of thought is that it s the future where joy lies.. in fact it is the opposite.. Joy is here in this second, and the only way to get there is by being completely free, and when you are completely free, nothing you will do can hurt others or cause misery..living in peace and having understanding and ethics between people is a by-product of being free not the target.

Sex and Women control by religion: First women, in my opinion, are much more free in sex, they are not tied to an objective as men are (ejaculation). Man is racing to that point where women are just enjoying every moment, in fact after they reach orgasim the party starts. So religion is afraid of freedom and thus afraid of women as well. Religion being controlled mostly by men are afraid of women's freedom..The women always are much more powerful in the bedroom turning men to do anything for that peice of ass if you like to think of it this way...so better control them, control the situation, control their families and put lots of fear in their minds so that they can also control their children..
